Ingredients:
- 3 lb pork loin (trimmed of any excess fat)
- 1 pkg. think cut bacon (Approx. 12 slices)
- 1 bottle (14 oz.) WheelyQ Original Recipe Barbecue Sauce
- WheelyQ SPG Seasoning
Marinate:
- Place pork loin in large Ziploc bag and pour entire bottle of WheelyQ Original Recipe Barbecue Sauce into bag. Seal and marinate for 24-48 hours
Prepare Pork Loin:
- Lay down 6 slices of bacon vertically and 6 slices horizontally, then weave together. (WATCH TUTORIAL)
- Apply SPG Seasoning to pork loin generously
- Wrap pork loin with weaved bacon and secure with toothpicks
Big Green Egg Smoker or Grill Preparation:
- Preheat smoker or grill to 275 degrees
- Using indirect heat and hickory wood for smoke, cook pork loin for 1.5 – 2 hours or until internal thermometer reads 145-150 degrees
- Remove from grill, wrap in foil and let rest for 15 minutes
- Remove all toothpicks
- Cut into 1/2″ slices and drizzle with any remaining juices as well as some WheelyQ Original Recipe Barbecue Sauce
- Enjoy!
Oven Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Place pork loin in shallow roasting pan and roast for 1 hour or until internal thermometer reads 145-150 degrees
- Remove from oven, wrap in foil and let rest for 15 minutes
- Remove all toothpicks
- Cut into 1/2″ slices and drizzle with any remaining juices as well as some WheelyQ Original Recipe Barbecue Sauce
- Enjoy!
